Multi -Tiered System of Supports
Our dedicated intervention and wellbeing staff work hard to ensure that each child receives the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
At Gladesville we are proud advocates of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), a framework designed support the diverse needs of all learners. This system allows us to proactively address concerns related to behaviour, wellbeing, and learning difficulties.
Universal Screening
We use universal screening measures, including Dibels iteracy screening and Acadience maths for all years. This data-driven approach helps us regualry identify students who may require additional support or intervention.
Tiered Response
Using screening and progress monitoring data, we provide targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions that respond directly to each student’s specific learning needs. This structured and proactive approach ensures early identification, precise support and timely adjustments, so every student receives the level of instruction required to thrive.
