As you will be aware, the outer east has been devastated by the extreme weather conditions last week. The continuing power outages are proving challenging to many parts of our neighboring community, including the those in the Dandenongs.
Mt Dandenong Primary School is currently unable to have their students and staff on site so have spent today at Gladesville Primary School. The day has been filled with friendship, learning and laughter. We look forward to seeing our new friends back here tomorrow while DET work with the Mt Dandenong Primary community to ensure their site is safe to return to soon.
Until then, I think we can all take something from the sign that our Grade 5 Display Leader, Kyan, put up today with the help of some new Mt Dandenong friends.
