School Council

School Council and President Welcome

Welcome to our school’s website! My name is Kerryn and I am the School Council President at Gladesville Primary School.

I have been a parent at Gladesville Primary since 2010 and my 3 children have all experienced an excellent education here. Gladesville offers a nurturing, community environment where every child is equal, valued and supported.

Our school offers broad and engaging learning opportunities in areas such as language, physical education, art and music, as well as a sound approach to the teaching of core subject such as reading, writing and mathematics. With regular upgrades to facilities and resources, our buildings and grounds provide a safe and modern environment for the children.

We have an active community of parents and helpers who contribute greatly to the school through community group activities, school council and one-off events. We look forward to you being involved in our community in any way you can.

Why join School Council?
Being on School Council is a great way to get involved and have a real say in what your school is doing for its students.
Being on School Council is a very good way to help present and future students of the school. One of the roles of School Council is to help set the future direction for the school.
Many school councillors have also found that their children have a greater sense of belonging within the school due to their parents involvement.
